Croton plants thrive in bright, indirect light—place it near a window where it receives several hours of filtered sunlight daily. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, typically every 7–10 days, and ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent root rot. This tropical plant prefers warm temperatures between 60–75°F and appreciates humidity; mist the leaves occasionally or place the pot on a pebble tray with water. Feed with a balanced, diluted fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Wipe leaves gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and keep them vibrant.
