Homalomenas thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers consistently moist (but not waterlogged) soil. Water when the top inch feels dry, and reduce frequency in winter. This tropical plant loves humidity—mist regularly or place on a pebble tray. Keep temperatures between 65–75°F and away from cold drafts. Feed monthly during growing season with diluted houseplant fertilizer. Repot every 1–2 years in spring using well-draining potting mix. Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust and keep the plant looking vibrant. Low-maintenance and forgiving, it's perfect for intermediate plant parents.
